This is a “master study” or a version of the classical painting method of copying the great masters in order to learn the techniques they used. Dutch Renaissance floral arrangments in particular are more about a display of artistic skill than realism. The flowers are often selected for their individual beauty and ability to showcase painting techniques and do not reflect the reality that the different species of flowers shown all come into full bloom in different seasons.
This painting is not a specific work by an old Dutch Master, but rather an assemblage of many different historic references and real flowers much in the same way they would have selected many different blooms and placed them into a composition to showcase their talent.
